I hope you are all well. Yesterday we sent home extra (and optional

very proud of your hard work and dedication.

Title: The Pink Lion
Author: Ricardo
Group: 4-2

In a house there was a lion, a pink lion. One day, he found out
that his grandma was sick. He needed to protect his pink lion grandma.
As he was cooking dinner, a pigeon passed and said: “Is that a Lion?
A pink lion? The pigeon approached him. The lion began to cry.
The pigeon asked him:  “Why are you crying?”
The lion replied: “ Yesterday, my grandma passed away, I am so sad.”
The pigeon felt very bad for the lion, so bad that he decided to stay with
him forever. From that day on, people would talk
about the friendship between the pigeon and the lion.

Teacher’s note: The Lion and the Pigeon tells the story of
how friendships can blossom in the most unlikely of places
and even people.  Great Job, keep writing.

Title: The Legend of the  Pink Lion
Author: Isander
Group: 4-1

He was born in China. As soon as he was born all the doctors that
saw him told him the sad news. He had Coronavirus. He became
the only lion in the world to have the virus. As he grew up, his skin
turned pink due to his illness. All the other lions in school would make
fun of him. They would bully him. One day, during one of his doctor’s
appointments, he found out he was cured! The doctor was surprised
to find out he did not have Coronavirus. When the Lion heard the news
he was so happy. The kids in school stopped bullying him, too. Finally,
he became the first lion to survive this virus. He was happy for the rest
of his life.

Teacher’s note: The Legend of the Pink Lion tells the story of how
no matter what the circumstances we need to have hope for a
better tomorrow. Isander, you inspire us to continue working hard.

Title: The King
Author: Nathan
Group: 4-2

On a mountain, there was a lion that was different from the others. His name was Tobuk.

He was pink, instead of yellow. One day, he scared the villagers from the town by killing a
tiger. That's how Tobuk became the King of the Forest.

Teacher’s note: The King, is a short tale that teaches us how great leaders sometimes
come to be. Throughout history, people would gain power through acts of violence.
Is this what we do in the Twenty first century? Great job connecting both classes,
I am very proud!

Title: Blue Hope
Author: Nathaniel
Group: 4-1
One day, in a valley full of lions a pink lion was born. The pink lion had magical powers,

he could even talk to humans. One night, a black lion came to the valley to destroy everything.

The pink Lion used his magical powers to defeat the black lion. He almost lost the fight, when

suddenly a grey lioness appeared. She helped defeat the evil ion. They won the final battle and

lived happily ever after with a blue baby lion of their own.

Teacher’s note: Blue hope is an inspirational tale. The fantasy behind the author's words is
amazing. It teaches us that good can sometimes win against evil. Excellent work!

Title: The Unusual Lion

There was a boy in a mountain and he saw a pink lion.
The lion did not attack the boy. The boy touched the lion, he
passed his hands through the lion's mane. Suddenly, he fell
inside of the lion mane and was transported into a new
world. The boy and the lion became best friends

Teacher’s note: The Unusual Lion is a short tale of friendship. Remember the first time you
met your best friend? You are on the right road Emilee keep writing!
